Black Friday is Friday, November 27: CF Fairview Mall is open 9 AM–10 PM and CF Shops at Don Mills 9 AM–9 PM. Yorkdale has not posted its Black Friday hours yet. Boxing Day is Saturday, December 26: Yorkdale 8 AM–9 PM, Fairview 9 AM–10 PM, Don Mills 9 AM–9 PM.

Christmas Day, December 25, is closed. Boxing Day is not a mandatory closure in Ontario, so stores may open. We list no sale prices: retailers had not published 2026 offers when we checked.

Regular hours are Monday–Saturday 10 AM–9 PM and Sunday 11 AM–7 PM at Yorkdale and Fairview; Don Mills runs 10 AM–9 PM Monday–Friday, 10 AM–8 PM Saturday and 11 AM–7 PM Sunday from November 27 to January 2.

Two cautions. Fairview's page also carries a separate extended-hours line for November 27 to January 2 that does not match its regular-hours line, so confirm on the day. Bayview Village's page shows conflicting regular hours, so call the centre before you go. Yorkdale's holiday page says only that extended holiday hours are coming. Nearby big-box stores are not covered here; we have not verified their hours.

The rules

Boxing Day is not a legal closure.

Ontario's Retail Business Holidays Act requires most stores to close on Christmas Day. December 26 is not on the closure list — the Boxing Day Shopping Act, 1996 (Bill 95) removed it, which is why Boxing Day is a full shopping day. The Act is on Ontario e-Laws and the province's retail business holidays page explains it.

Boxing Day is still a public holiday for employees under employment standards rules, which is separate from the store-closing law. Expect reduced restaurant, bank and service hours even where malls are open.

Yorkdale subway station sits at street level on the Yorkdale Service Road. Check the mall's parking page for current rates and any holiday notes before you drive.

TTC Line 4 Sheppard

CF Fairview Mall

Don Mills station connects directly to the mall via Entrance 4. Several bus routes, including 25 and 85, feed the station. Parking decks exist; the mall listed Deck 5 as closed on our check.

The mall lists free parking in a four-level garage, with entrances off Marie Labatte Road and The Donway West, or Leadley Lane and Lawrence Avenue East.

Go at opening.

Fairview and Don Mills both open at 9 AM, an hour earlier than a regular day. Arriving at opening beats the evening rush, and Fairview's 10 PM close gives you a late-night option. Plan on transit: it skips the parking-lot queue.

Boxing Day · Sat Dec 26

Yorkdale opens at 8 AM.

Yorkdale posted an 8 AM–9 PM Boxing Day, the earliest start of any mall with posted hours. It falls on a Saturday this year, so the weekend crowd stacks on top of the sale crowd. Early morning or after 7 PM is the calmer end of the day. This is our advice, not mall guidance.
